We are the Parent Ministry Organization of Holy Cross Catholic School. Our group is made up of parents, caregivers, and teachers who are all invested in trying to give the students and staff of Holy Cross the best educational and social experience possible. We hold events and fundraisers throughout the year so we can help fund different projects, as we need the students, teachers, and the school as a whole.

My name is Kirsten Wannemacher, and I am the PMO President and Communication Co-Chair. I am married to Tom and we have 2 kids- Brock who is a Holy Cross Alum and current 8th grader at Defiance Middle School and Karly who is a student in Mrs. DeCola's 4th grade class. I have been involved in the PMO for 10 years and this is my 6th year as President. Outside of the PMO, I am an Account Manager at Grant Insurance and I also serve on the Holy Cross School Advisory Council. The thing I like most about the PMO is that I am able to be active in the school and get to know other parents. I first joined because I was new to the school and the area and I knew no one at the time. 10 years later I find some of my closest friends around the table at PMO Meetings. I think it's important to be involved in the PMO because it's not a huge commitment, we all work well together, and enjoy making a difference as well as creating and continuing special traditions.
I'm Katelyn Ruiz and I'm the PMO Fundraising Chair and Communication Co-Chair. I am married to my husband Bryan, and am mom to Julian, a Sophomore at DHS and HCCS Alum, along with current Holy Cross students: Addilyn in 4th grade, Lillian in 3rd grade, and Aurelio in Pre-K 4. I have been involved in the PMO for 3 years, but have been active within the school for over 10 years. I wear many hats-taxi driver, maid, personal assistant chef- but I think the correct term is “Stay-at-home mom”. Just recently I was named the new Holy Cross Marketing and Fundraising Director and look forward to this new adventure! The thing I like the most about PMO is the people who I have gotten to know and get to interact with. I also like having the chance to be a part of making decisions to help our students, our teachers, and our school. I feel like it's important to be a part of the PMO because the people are pretty awesome, and we have a lot of fun.
I am Renee Sampson and I serve as the PMO Treasurer. You can also find me in the HCCS Office as the school secretary and finance manager. I am married to Justin, and we have two former HCCS students and current Tinora Rams, Aurora, and Owen, and one 3rd grader, Melia, who is in Mrs. Rohn's 3rd-grade class. I have been involved with the PMO for 2 years and I like most that I can offer my services to the organization to help accomplish their amazing goals. The PMO does so much to help HCCS. I am happy to help them whenever I can. I think that others should become involved because it's a great way to make your voice heard. The PMO offers a place to share your thoughts and opinions about what HCCS could do better or differently to make your student's school experience the best it can be. Plus, we have a lot of fun planning some pretty awesome events!
I'm Samantha Donaldson, and I am the Staff Representative of the HCCS PMO. I married my high school sweetheart, Nathan, 15 years ago and we have 3 beautiful children. Emma, who is 13 and an 8th grader at Ayersville, and an HCCS Alum, Owen, who is 10 and in 5th grade, and Oliver, who is 6 and in 1st grade, both at Holy Cross. I have been involved with the PMO unofficially for 8 years and have been an active board member for 5 years. You can also find me around Holy Cross in my kindergarten classroom! One of the main reasons I love being involved in the PMO is because it is a wonderful way to meet new parents and to use your talents to enhance our school. I love the relationships that I have developed with other HCCS parents and the ways we work together to improve HCCS however we can.
I am Ariel Rhodes and I serve as the secretary on the PMO. I am married to Joe, and we have 4 children: John is in 2nd grade, Jeremiah is in Pre-K, and Abigail and Isaiah are still at home and one more is on the way! I have been involved with the PMO since we moved here 5 years ago. I spend most of my time being a stay-at-home mom, which is a big part of why I love being involved in the PMO- it's a way to get to socialize with other adults, and parents of the students that my kids go to school with. It's a great chance to be something other than “just a mom” for a couple of hours now and again. I believe others should want to become involved to have the chance to get out and meet other people in the Holy Cross community and make our school a better place. Being new to the area, the PMO was one of the ways I was able to meet new people and make friends.
